The fellowship of friendship

 

Ok, carrying on with the Lord of the rings/Hobbit style title theme – why? Because I can. 😀 Anyway diving straight in to my targets which I set from yesterday I have to say that today has been a bit of a mixed day. So I applied for a couple of online jobs, had a nice walk around while going to uni so got out of the house for a while. I got to uni late morning as I aimed to but I didn’t manage to get in the lab due to my supervisor not being there, I did however sort everything else out I needed to and have arranged to go in tommorow, which is good. As to not getting down on myself I think I have done pretty well so far and haven’t been down at all so a good day to say the least. 🙂

 

As promised here is some of my work, ok rather than from production it is from one of my labs but I do like the picture so I am going to make it my profile pic for the time being – again because I can. For those interested this is the diffraction of laser light caused by microspheres in a water solution, dried on a microscope slide.

In keeping with the title of the blog I really should give special mention to my friends who I really couldn’t have gotten this far without. An extra special shout out has to go to the one and only Jesus who has been my rock through the toughest times of my life. Sorry, cheesy Christian get up but hey, where’s life without whimsy and cheese? :p

Sorry, I promise I’ll try to keep it down to a minimum (and that includes the cheese). Think my sense of humour is starting to come through here maybe again I’m sorry – oh who am I kidding? I’m not sorry in the slightest about any of it! :p

Anyway moving on and getting back to seriousness again it’s time for me to set my targets for tommorow/rest of the day:

• Stay feeling positive about myself
• Have a good evening at the church worship team night
• Get to Job seekers on time tommorow morning
• Don’t waste the rest of tommorow bumming around my room/house.
